Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1994 - the woman that every woman adores

"What is the Essence of a Woman"? who could have forgotten that question and the woman who answered that question full of confidence and dignity? It was 1994 when Miss Universe was held in the Philippines, the time of Ms Charlene Gozales now Muhlach as Philippine's representative to the pageant, the event that also made Charlene as one of the most popular beauty queens when she answered back "hight tide or low tide? when asked about the numbers of islands in the Philippines.

After 23 years, Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1994 came back to the Philippines to judge int the 65th Miss Universe that was held in MOA Arena.

While watching the show Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, I couldn't help but say "this woman really deserved the crown". She is intelligent, a very brave girl who talks a lot of wisdom and she is really pretty with a well-maintained beauty queen body.

To test the popularity of the question "What is the essence of a woman" I tried to Google it and I got the top answer in the Google first ranked page: and it is all about Sushmita's popular answer.

Now, I took down all the words of wisdom from Sushmita from Jessica Soho's interview and of course, I want to start it with her answer to the question "What is the essence of a woman"?

1. Just being a woman is God's gift that all of us must appreciate. The origin of a child is a mother and is a woman. She shows a man what sharing, caring and loving is all about. That is the essence of a woman.

2. It's not about what a woman can do, but what a woman is

3. I was knowledgeable at 18, but it takes 23 years to understand it.

4. If you don't try, you will never know

5. You have to give life a shot, I'm a living proof of that

6. You have to be out of this world to be a Miss Universe

7. I wanted to take time at my own clock because I believe everybody's unique

Sushmita also shares the meaning of the name "Sushmita" and I learned that it means "beautiful smile". She mentioned about it when she met four ladies who were born in 1994, and named after her and said they all have it. You can watch the full video interview here.
