While There is Life, There is Hope

This was the scene when typhoon Glenda finally done hitting our area here in Laguna a few months ago. There were some banana trees in the backyard that were terribly affected by the strong wind pressure. We didn't expect the typhoon to be that strong to the extent that it almost washed away all the plants, trees and communication wiring. After that storm, we had no power for two weeks and poor communication for almost a month.

Among those swept banana trees, only one baby tree left standing but its upper part was also swept by the wind and heavy rain fall.

After several weeks, the baby tree matures, but never had even a single leaf to cover its body beacause the upper part was totally damaged.

More months have passed and this banana tree kept standing. Despite several heavy rainfalls and too much heat from the sun, this tree fought for her life. One day, we noticed a heart blossoms from its broken part and weeks passed by, a bunch of little bananas surprised us.

At first we thought that this tree will die sooner or later, and when it bears fruit we thought that it will fall immaturely but we're so wrong! We under estimated the power of this little tree to fight for her life and give blessings to others. This tree is a great reminder to us that "While there's life, there's hope"

Life can be so stressful if you will look at it in a negative way. The book "The Secret of Possitive Thinking" written by Aaron Kennard changed my point of view in life.

Life is wealth, more than anything you have. It's  the most precious give that you ever received in your whole life. Look lke in a possitive way, learn the secret of positive thinking with this inspirational book and you'll believe that "Life is Beautiful" that "While there is Life, There is Hope"
