Detox is a short term for "Detoxification". It is a process of removing dirt or toxins inside the body by cleansing. Detox can be done through taking antioxidants or food supplements, eating fresh fruits and vegetables and the easiest way, the water detox.

Water detoxification is the most convenient way to detoxify your body. It is proven that drinking water in an empty stomach can wash away the stuck dirt in your stomach and other vital organs such as liver, kidney, gall bladder and colon.

Water detoxification is more effective when added with the right amount of fruit such as cucumber, orange and lemon.

There are many health benefits of water detoxification, it cleanses your body, strengthens your immune system, it controls physical aging and it helps in losing weight. The fruits included in this recipe have the power to detoxify your body and at the same time it can suppress your appetite so it is recommended if you are into losing weight program.

I'm sharing to you a detox recipe of TheHourGlassLife in Youtube. This detox recipe can be done inside your kitchen and ingredients are fruits which are commonly found in the market. In the Philippines where lemons are expensive, I read in article that you can replace it with calamansi.

2 orange slices
1 liter purified water

All you have to do is mix all the ingredients in one liter of water. Let the formula sit overnight on the fridge and enjoy it daily. Watch the full video tutorial.
