A fun filled event for kids; Post Nutrition Month Celebration

The children from St. Joseph Day Care Center

Yesterday at St. Joseph Day Care Center, the little kids celebtrated the post Nutrition Day Celebration. It was a simple one but a fun filled activities for kids and moms. My daughter Viel really enjoyed the half day activity, she joied almost all the game contest especially the banana eating contest. The event theme was "kalamidad ay paghandaan, Kalusugan ay ingatan".
A short Prayer to start the event

Started with a short prayer, the program was too simple since the parents agreed to celebrate it even without collecting contribution and solicitation. It's done to follow the no cost celebration because everyone's are affected by the typhoon Glenda. Eventhough it was planned to be simple, our day care center was too lucky to be visited by the Calamba Eye Center headed by Doctor Dimaranan. The group is currently celebrating their anniversary and they chose to celebrate it with the kids in St. Joseph day care center.

The expected simple celebration was filled with knowledge on how children and parents could take care of the eyes. The Calamba Eye Center was too generous to share Jollibbee foods with the kids so it was really a full fun celebration of Nutrition Month. Together with the members of Barangay Bagong Kalsada Officers, the event was successfully done leaving a smile to the lips of every little kid in St. Joseph Day Care Center. The St.Joseph Day Care Center is headed by our very patient social worker Mrs.Marlyn Silang who have been serving the public for more than ten years now.

Overall it was a very successful Nutrition Month Celeberation for our little kids. It won't be real without the help of our friends from Calamba Eye Center, the school officers and the Barangay Health workers. Thank you very much everyone for taking care of our little angels, till next!
